About Paragon House

Paragon House offers books of cultural and intellectual significance with a specific international and interdisciplinary character. Paragon House publishes trade books, scholarly research, textbooks, and reference works in the areas of general philosophy, ethics, contemporary values, world religion, socialthought, womens studies, social sciences, political philosophy, economics, integral studies, world peace and globalization.

Paragon House carries several book series, including:

  • Paragon Issues in Philosophy: Textbooks focused on specific areas of philosophy.
  • Books on Genocide and the Holocaust
  • Omega Series: Works on human development and the nature of ultimate reality, encompassing mysticism, psychic research, the evolution of consciousness, and self-directed growth in mind, body and spirit.
  • New Era Books: Books on World Religion and inter-religious dialogue.
  • Liberal Democratic Societies - books focused on the understanding and working of democracy in the contemporary world.
  • Environment Issues: Books focused on understanding the issues that impact our environment.
Paragon House is a member of the Continuum International Publishing Group, New York.

Paragon Book Reprint Corp. was incorporated in 1963 in New York City with an emphasis on reprinting books in Asian philosophy. In 1981, the International Cultural Foundation purchased the company and expanded it to a mid-size publishing house to support religious scholars, philosophers, social theorists, and scientists writing on issues affecting contemporary life, and began doing business as Paragon House. In 1996, the main office moved to St. Paul, Minnesota. In 2006, ownership was transferred to Professors World Peace Academy.
