Paying by Credit Card
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We do not add any credit card surcharges. Please see our Privacy Policy Statement for more information about your credit card safety. If your shipping address is different from your billing address, Paragon House requires that this address be listed on your credit card account as an alternate address for shipping purposes only. You can contact your credit card company by calling the 1-800 number on the back of your credit card. Paragon House requires this to protect our customers from credit card fraud.

Checks, Money Orders, and Other Forms of Payment
Orders are held until payment is received and based on stock on hand on the date that payment is received. Paragon House cannot guarantee a shipping date until payment is received.

Tax Exemption
As stated above, we charge sales tax for Minnesota and New York sales. If you are sales-tax exempt in Minnesota or New York, please call us at 1-800-447-3709 (Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Central Time) to pre-qualify. For your convenience, your information will be kept on file for future purchases.

Shipping
Continental U.S. Shipments
If your package is lost or damaged, please send us an e-mail at orders@paragonhouse.com or contact our Customer Service Center at 1-800-447-3709.

International Shipments
We will gladly ship internationally, unless shipments are restricted by law. Please remember that all customs clearing, duties and taxes are not included in the freight calculation and are the responsibility of the customer.
(NOTE: Shipments that are not retrieved from customs are not covered by our insurance.)

Online pricing specifications and availability
Although Internet orders generate an automatic confirmation and response e-mail, Paragon House may change its pricing, product description or specification after any order confirmation or response e-mail but prior to shipment due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or unavailability, typographical errors, or any other reason.

We will notify you of any corrections or changes and ask for your approval before we complete your order. We will not complete your order until we have your approval.

Warranties
Paragon House warrants its books against manufacturing defects. Manufacturing defects include missing pages and other printing and assembly errors. They do not include copy-editing or typesetting errors. Books purchased from Paragon House that contain manuafacturing defects may be returned for a free replacement within 30 days of purchase.

Returns Policy
Retail
Undamaged books purchased from paragonhouse.com may be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase. Before returning books, a return authorization must first be received from Paragon House. This is to verify that the product was purchased directly from us and not some other seller. A restocking fee of 10% will be applied to all returns and the customer will pay for return shipping and package adequately to prevent damage. No refund will be made for damaged books.

Wholesale
Bookstores and wholesalers who purchase books for resale may return undamaged and unsold inventory in the original shrink-wrapped condition within a period of one year from the date of purchase. Before returning books, a return authorization must first be received from Paragon House. This is to verify that the product was purchased directly from us and not some other seller. A restocking fee of 10% will be applied to all returns and the customer will pay for return shipping and package adequately to prevent damage. No refund will be made for damaged books.

Non-Returnable Sales
Items purchased at non-returnable rates may not be returned unless they are defective. Items purchased at a non-returnable discount rate may not be returned unless they are defective. In the case of a defect Paragon House will exchange the item for a non-defective unit. If Paragon House is unable to replace the defective item, it will refund the purchase price.

Clearance Products
ALL CLEARANCE PRODUCTS PURCHASED FROM THIS WEBSITE CANNOT BE RETURNED UNLESS THEY CONTAIN MANUFACTURING DEFECTS. In the case of a defect Paragon House will exchange the item for a non-defective unit. If Paragon House is unable to replace the defective item, it will refund the purchase price.

Shipping fees will not be refunded if shipment is refused at time of delivery.

Refunds on purchases made with a credit card will be posted to the original credit card used at the time of sale.
