Ward, Thomas J.

Thomas J. Ward is the Vice President for International Programs at the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut and Dean of the International College. He has lectured widely on comparative political systems and has lived in Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Dr. Ward translated from the original French the first textbook to compare the pensions systems of the member states of the European Union. A pioneer in distance learning, Ward was awarded two grants by the Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium to develop online courses on regional political economy. He has also served as a Human Rights Commissioner in Dutchess County, New York.
