A tremendous collection on the life
work of Reverend Sun Myung Moon.
This
cloth-bound coffee table-sized book contains 350 pages filled with large
color photos. This beautiful large and well crafted book is an invaluable treasure.
Although Reverend Moon is firstly a religious leader, he has always been on the front line of the struggle to end war, injustice, poverty and environmental degradation. He believes that religion is not about escaping from the world to find some personal reward in heaven. True religion means establishing heaven on earth for everyone. It is about building a world where people of all nations, cultures, races, and religions may rejoice together.
The present materialistic age must yield to a new age of spirituality, one that is based on unselfish service to others, so Reverend Moon believes. He recognizes that this transformation cannot be effected by religious revival alone, or by political and economic reforms alone. Rather, all fields of endeavor must join together to provide the moral and intellectual leadership that is required. For this reason, Reverend Moon’s achievements are not confined to religion, but span every field: education, philosophy, science, religion, media, the arts, international affairs, technology, charitable work, the environment, families, women and youth. Yet each organization contributes in some way to building a united, peaceful world based on the ideal of love.

For this reason, Reverend Moon's achievements are not confined to religion, but span every field: education, philosophy, science, religion, media, the arts, international affairs, technology, charitable work, the environment, families, women and youth. The titles of the organizations that he has founded include such words as "world peace," "international" and "unification," reflecting his underlying motivation to establish God's ideal. Each organization contributes in some way towards realizing the ideal of a united, peaceful world centered on the one God.
Now after 83 years, the world can see his unparalleled foundation. Many
people think it incredible that Reverend Moon should start so many works
and achieve such solid results. They derive from his sublime vision that
ordinary people cannot reach. His thinking goes far beyond ordinary thinking,
even looking to the fruits his actions might bear one hundred years, one
thousand years into the future. His accomplishments are even more miraculous
given the difficult and lonely climate of persecution in which he had to
work.
This beautiful large and well crafted
book is an invaluable treasure.
